QUALITY ASSURANCE

The Post Graduate Program "School Psychology", Department of Psychology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, is fully committed to implementing a policy that ensures the provision of high-quality higher education to the students who choose it. Through the establishment and ongoing, review, redesign, and redefinition of the Quality Police, the Program is committed to achieving even higher performance. The vision of the Program is to continue to contribute effectively to addressing the educational, cultural, social, and developmental needs of our students with commitment to the principles of scientific ethics, accountability, sustainable development, and social cohesion. The development and implementation of this policy, with appropriate structures and procedures, involves all relevant internal stakeholders, Faculty Members and research staff and external scientists and tutors. The main pillars on which the Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement Policy of the Program is structured include:

  • Strengthening of student-centered learning in the design of the curricula
  • Improving the performance and achievement of students
  • Reducing the percentage of students who are late in completing their studies
  • Continuous improvement of the working conditions of the scientific and administrative staff
  • Solving infrastructure problems
  • Strengthening of collaborations with other foreign and domestic institutions, the dissemination and enhancement of research projects and wider synergies, as well as the improvement of research output
  • Attracting high quality faculty members
  • Organizing and making good use of the program alumni network in the service of its academic and social objectives
