LABORATORY OF SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGY

The Laboratory of School Psychology: Training, Research and Practice was founded and operates since 1999. It is based on a multilevel model linking theory, research, training and school psychological interventions in schools, institutions and other settings and its actions are implemented in cooperation with the Graduate Program in School Psychology. The Laboratory aims at the prevention and promotion of mental health, learning and resilience in the school and family contexts, hence the connection and cooperation of the University with schools and local authorities.The specific goals of the Laboratory are based on the following interrelated axes:

  • Education and training
  • Prevention and intervention programs
  • Consultation - Supervision
  • Research
  • Educational material/resources 
  • Cooperation/collaboration with authorities/agencies/stakeholders
  • Dissemination of knowledge in the community (workshops, speeches, symposia, etc.)

National

  • "Routes in the city I": Program for the interconnection of school communities and the enhancement of resilience during difficult times (2023-2024)
  • Psychosocial support of school communities in the context of the pandemic COVID-19 (2019-2022)
  • Project of psychosocial support and promotion of resilience in school communities after natural disasters (the case of fire) (2018-2019)
  • Psychosocial support of refugee children and their families in school communities (2015-2018)
  • Project "Connecting for Caring" (C4C)
  • Social and Emotional Learning - Program for the Promotion of Mental Health and Learning in school community (PPMHL)
