The Graduate Program in School Psychology held its Internship Event on Friday, February 14, 2025, at the “Kostis Palamas” building. The event was attended by supervisors from internship sites and organizations, alumni of the Program, and current postgraduate students.

The event was opened with greetings from the Chair of the Department of Psychology, Professor S. Tantaros, and the Director of the Postgraduate Program in School Psychology and the Laboratory of School Psychology, Professor Ch. Hatzichristou, who also delivered a brief address on the importance of the internship and its role in the training of future school psychologists.

Following the opening remarks, contributions were made by members of the Coordinating Committee of the Program (Assoc. Prof. A. Filippatou, Assist. Prof. A. Lampropoulou), the Internship Coordinator (Dr. V. Nikolopoulou), academic supervisors (PhD candidate G. Georgoulea and Dr. A. Georganti), field supervisors, as well as graduate students. The discussions focused on the challenges and best practices of the internship, as well as on the continuous improvement of student training.

The event concluded with the traditional cutting of the Vasilopita (New Year’s cake) and a light meal. It provided a valuable opportunity for networking and exchange among academics, professionals, and postgraduate students.
